Rising Alt-R&B singer KeepVibesNear aka KVN drops his second release of the year, ‘Late Night Link’ featuring Harvey Whyte and Luke RV.

Featuring some of the UK Hip-Hop scene's finest voices, ‘Late Night Link’ is part of a double-sided single and follows ‘Late Night Drive’ featuring long term collaborator rapper/producer Harvey Whyte and Brighton Grime/Garage duo Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn. ‘LNL’ sees KVN link up with up and coming Welsh rapper Luke RV and Harvey Whyte.

Known for his unapologetic vulnerability, KVN showcases his range with the up-tempo single, bridging the gap between alternative Rap and R&B and demonstrating his ability to write personally yet playfully. Directed by Sebastian Luke-Virgo, the video follows the trio as they escape to the countryside with the autumnal brown trees, lakes and hilltops providing the perfect backdrop. Both sonically and visually the artist's cohesion is clear for all to see, with KVN’s gravelly tone and melodic chorus at the core. When speaking about the track KeepVibesNear stated:

“‘LNL’ is a song about that search for a ‘ride or die’ the joy of the chase and the back and forth. Anticipating colliding with a person and the excitement that comes with. If it’s meeting for the first time of many or just a late night link, haha. It’s a thrill everyone can relate to when you link someone you excited about. Something the mandem smile and tell their friends about.”

Raised in Romford with family ties in Nigeria, KVN is hoping his music can change the outdated narrative that men can’t show or feel the vast spectrum of emotions, good, bad and everything in between. In a time when toxic masculinity is still so rife, he intends to make space for men to express themselves, open up and be vulnerable. Bringing that refreshing energy into the new year and reflecting on last year, 2021 highlights for the musician included his ‘Now That We Know.’ EP, receiving ongoing support from the likes of Jamz Supernova, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM and NTS, as well as ending the year selling out his headline show at the Hackney Social Club.
