London based alternative R&B artist KeepVibesNear follows his much-praised track “Gently” on Melting Pot Music with new single “M25”. On “M25”, KVN spices up his ‘Noir R&B’ sound with some bars from East London rapper and illustrator Kieron Boothe.

KVN describes “M25” as “a song about tension and build up.“ A tribute to one of England’s most important and busiest roads, enclosing almost all of Greater London, KVN explains: “I spend a lot of days looking forward to just getting home and winding down with that special someone. For some it’s a booty call, for some it’s seeing their girlfriend/boyfriend after a long day. M25 is my anthem for ‘What are we doing later?’ It's an ode to how we can have that someone that makes us so excited to be where they are.“

“M25” is produced by Harvey Whyte who recently laced tracks for the likes of Greentea Peng and Fatima and runs his own label, Studio 117. Like KVN, Kieron Boothe contributed to the first volume of The Silhouettes Project (2020) alongside artists like Enny, Kofi Stone and Summers Sons.

KVN's “Gently“ enjoyed major support from Jamz Supernova (BBC 1XTra/BBC 6), Jyoty (Rinse FM), WDR Cosmo (Germany), Wordplay Mag and many more. It was featured on the “Jazz Rap“ playlist on Spotify and the music video scored a premiere at Complex UK. The stripped-back, raw quality of his vocals and the reflective nature of his lyricism makes for a warming and addictive sound.
