Rising alternative R&B artist KeepVibesNear is blessing us with his new single ‘SRS’. It’s also the final taster of his upcoming EP “Now That We Know.”, to be released on September 3rd.

The 22-year-old singer describes ‘SRS’ as “a song that is quite special to me. ‘SRS’ is one of the first songs me and Harvey made after meeting almost two years ago now. I wrote it when I was in a strange time in my life.” The single is once again produced by London-based producer and rapper Harvey Whyte who has recently laced tracks for the likes of Greentea Peng and Fatima and runs his own label, Studio 117.

“This song helped me realise what I was feeling at that time even maybe before I had realised myself” KVN adds, “we live in a world where male emotions aren’t really championed much. This song forces everyone to think about that time where they liked somebody, let them down and had to step up for their trust to be taken seriously again.” The stripped-back, raw quality of KVN’s vocals and the reflective nature of his lyricism make for a warming and addictive sound.

The first single off the EP, ‘M25‘ featuring rapper and illustrator Kieron Boothe, enjoyed support from Jamz Supernova (BBC 1Xtra/BBC 6), WDR Cosmo (Germany), GRM Daily, Wordplay Magazine and many more. The accompanying music video was directed and produced by Honey JD of Loudhouse.
